A restored and warranted Prophet-10 with a working original built-in Poly Sequencer has successfully completed our restoration process and is now available for sale for $4388. This Prophet-10 serial number 0084 is rated in excellent electronic and near excellent cosmetic condition, and has been reported to have been used in the TERMINATOR movies as well as by HALL & OATS. The cpu & audio electronics have been calibrated to factory specifications, tantalum capacitors in the power supply have been replaced, and a new memory back-up battery was installed along with factory programs. This Prophet-10 has also successfully completed well over 100 hours of operational burn-in to assure reliability.
The Prophet-10 and all Rev 3.x Prophet-5s use the exact same analog voice board. The exact same powerful & warm analog sounds that can be created with two Prophet-5s can also be created with this Prophet-10, all for less than the cost of one Prophet-5.
The Prophet-10 is 110/220 VAC voltage selectable, and the package also includes an operations manual, removable AC power cord, Diagnostics ROM set, & certificate of warranty. The warranty period is 45 days, and covers both parts & labor.

Prophet-10 OS & Diagnostic ROMs
The Prophet-10 Operating System consists of 3 ROMs. OS Version 4.0 is for Prophet-10s with the front mounted Exatron tape drive, Version 5.0 is for Prophet-10s with the side mounted Braemer tape drive, and Version 6.1 is for all Prophet-10s with MIDI installed. A MIDI kit installation will permanently disable access to the Exatron tape drive and sequencer, but the Braemer tape drive and sequencer will continue to operate with MIDI installed. The 3 socketed MIDI OS ROMs are labeled as 0, 1, and 2.. and can be seen in the adjacent picture. The MIDI ROMs are labeled 0TEN6.1, 1TEN6.1, and 2TEN6.1

Version 6.1 Operating System is ONLY for a Prophet-10 with MIDI installed.
The 2-chip Diagnostics ROM set also downloads the factory programs into memory, and works in any Prophet-10 regardless of tape drive type, MIDI or no MIDI. The 2 ROMs are installed into the OS socket positions 0 and 1, & position 2 remains empty. The ENABLE/DISABLE switch on the back panel must be set to the ENABLE position in order to run all diagnostics routines AND install factory programs into memory. The Prophet-10 Diagnostics is available for $28.95, with basic instructions also included.
